   fonts: one file per subset carries the whole axis. The fixed 400/600/700 descriptors this
   file shipped with on 2026-09-02 made the browser synthesise every other value the
   stylesheets ask for - 500, 650, 750 and 800 all appear - from the nearest declared weight.
   The ranges below are the fonts' real fvar limits, confirmed against Google's own range CSS,
   which returns these exact URLs and byte counts. Widening them costs no bytes. */
