How scoring & feedback works
  • Auto-graded tasks mark you instantly — right, wrong, or left unmarked.
  • AI-scored writing gives feedback on task fulfilment, grammar, vocabulary, and coherence, plus an estimated DET range.
  • Your work feeds three subscores — Literacy, Comprehension, and Production. Conversation (listening & speaking) is coming soon.
  • There's a daily practice limit (shown under the Start button). AI writing feedback resets at midnight UTC.

Real vs Fake

You'll see a list of words — some are real English words, others are made up. Mark each word as Real or Fake. The DET tests how quickly and accurately you can recognise genuine vocabulary.
